Run by Steve Clare, SCADA is a teaching practice supporting mainly secondary schools, 6th Forms & colleges with elements of their PSHE curriculum; namely harm reduction lessons on alcohol & other drugs.
Combining credible, evidence-based information & research with his professional experiences, Steve’s key aim is to promote harm reduction through education.
Retraining as a teacher after a career in the licensing industry, Steve’s background provides a perfect insight into the subject matter. He has observed drug checking services in the UK (The Loop) & in Detroit, USA (Dancesafe & Mittens & Kittens Collective). These experiences & his background generate huge credibility amongst students & teachers alike.
Steve’s portfolio of lessons also includes youth produced sexual imagery (sexting), cyber bullying, healthy lifestyle choices, misogyny & racism, & personal safety for KS3, 4 & 5.
